Chrysler is introducing the final production model of the new 2012 Chrysler Delta, which was debuted as a concept model in 2010 at the Detroit Motor Show. According to Chrysler of UK, the 2012 Chrysler Delta will be only available in the UK along with other Lancia models under the Chrysler brand.
In comparison with the Lancia Delta model, we see only few changes with some new trimmings and revisions to the front end design along with new Chrysler badges.
Power for the 2012 Chrysler Delta will be provided by two 1.4-litre turbocharged gasoline engines producing 120 hp and 140 hp. In addition, a 120-hp 1.6-liter and a 200-hp 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engines will be available as well, with fuel economy estimated at 61.4 mpg UK combined (equivalent to 51.1 mpg US) and emissions at 120g/km.
Sales of the 2012 Chrysler Delta hatchback are expected to be available shortly after the Frankfurt Motor Show.
