Acura is adding a special edition model to the 2012 TSX sedan. Although there is no power improvement on the 2012 Acura TSX Special Edition model, however, it does come with a few styling revisions to make it looks more sportier.
On the exterior, the 2012 Acura TSX Special Edition gets an aggressive front spoiler and rear fascia along with new side skirts and special edition badges. In addition, new 17-inch alloy wheels with dark gray polished finish added more sportiness to the compact sedan.
And in the interior, the 2012 Acura TSX Special Edition model gets new black suede inserts on the seats with contrasting red stitching. The red color continues to flow to the steering wheel and shift knob, the lighting of the gauges, footwell and cabin. In addition, new aluminum pedal covers are added to give it a sense of racer like.
The 2012 TSX Special Edition continues to use the same 2.4-liter cylinder engine, which is mated to either a Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission.
The 2012 Acura TSX Special Edition will go on sale in late September and will make its public debut at the Orange County International Auto Show on September 22nd.
