Abarth, a performance division of Fiat, is introducing three new special edition models of the Fiat 500 for the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.

Starting with the Abarth 695 Competizione, it is equipped with a 180-horsepower 1.4-liter 16-valve turbo four-cylinder engine, and mated to a paddle-shift transmission.  Similar to the 695 Tributo Ferrari, the suspension and braking systems have also been further strengthened to cope with the extra power. It uses Brembo brakes along with a set of 17-inch alloy wheels.

The second special edition is the 500 Cabrio Italia, which features a special blue paint job and the folding roof panel. It is power by a 160-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an over-boost function and five-speed manual.

Lastly is the Abarth Punto SuperSport, which is equipped with a 1.4-liter MultiJet engine producing 180-horsepower. It features performance Koni suspension along with Sabelt buckets and Jaeger instruments. The exterior of the car is further enhanced by “supersport” graphics on the side panel and on the tailgate and by matt black mirror covers.  A set of 18-inch alloy rims with Abarth esseesse design helps put power to the tarmac.
