Ford is taking a step into the future with its new Evos Concept. The new concept car expresses a new design vision and technology that we will soon see in Ford’s future vehicles.
The Evos Concept is designed as a global car. It is a four-door hatchback with gullwings on both sides, which we don’t think that it will ever make to production anytime soon. The Ford Evos Concept features curvy lines and rounded and sharped edges that are greatly influenced by both European and Asian cars. Noticeably is the hexagon grille that is similarly found in the European Ford Focus and the recent Ford Focus Concept rendering. According to Ford design J. Mays, the new look is designed, “not to provoke, but to seduce.”
“With its compelling design and innovative technology experience, this is a clear demonstration of the exciting vision we have for the Ford brand. While you will never see this car on the road, the next generation of Ford products around the world will display many of the distinctive design ideas and advanced technologies it showcases.”
As for the interior of the Ford Evos Concept, it is designed with a driver-oriented instrument panel and an inverted ‘L’ climate system, which mimics a cockpit-like feel.
Ford plans to show off the Evos Concept at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and as far as we know, it will be powered with a state-of-the-art lithium-ion plug-in hybrid powertrain system that is found in the C-Max Energi model.
