Last we heard that Chrysler has discontinued the Voyager model, and now it is recycling the model for commercial use. The new cargo vehicle is called the Ram Cargo Van or Ram C/V, which just started production in Windsor, Ontario.

The 2012 Ram C/V is a Class 1 commercial vehicle. It has 1,800 pounds of cargo capacity and 3,600 pounds of towing capacity to give a Gross Combined Weight Rating of 8,750 pounds. To provide this heavy duty work, the 2012 Ram C/V was fitted with heavy-duty suspension, a heavy-duty radiator and heavy-duty transmission oil cooler. In addition, the Ram C/V also comes with unique hydraulic power-assist rack-and-pinion steering, front anti-sway bar and rear twist-beam axle with coil springs.

As for fuel economy, the 2012 Ram Cargo Van provides up to 25 miles per gallon on the highway, and that is reasonable for a cargo van of its size.
