So far, no word when it will be available in the U.S. Our guess that it will arrive in the U.S. somewhere in the second quarter of 2011. Come on, Mr. Takanobu Ito, give it up already! You had your fun, now it’s our turn. See the Japanese review video below, that is if you can understand Japanese. Rough translation, he is saying that this car is fun to drive and you won’t be disappointed.

hmmm but what if you give it a mugen power hike and give it that lsd that it deserves. quite tasty huh…
All you guy’s are being foolish! Yes the FD type r IS a faster car then the UK type r, but did you guys forget that the FD type r comes with NOTHING: no radio no a/c and is worse on gas not to mention the BAD ride, IT’s a decent track ride, but aride for the streets the FD type R is GARBAGE!!!! the UK type R is MUCH better for the streets, I like to think the UK type R is an R for the public roads WHILE the FD type R is a Track special ONLY!
@gmracing15 You never drove the FD2 Type R… maybe even the FN2 too!! So i don’t know anything about what you’re saying. And yes, there are 2 versions for the UK Type R (GT and ”naked”), the FD2 Type R it’s the same… You don’t get the radio or the AC only if you don’t want it!!FD2 is everything that FN2 should be, and a lot… LOT MORE!

ALL motor journalists in europe agree and japanease journalists too, the FD2 type R is too raw for the streets, to be used as a weekend driver (let alone a daily driver) the FN2 is far better for street use (with a little enthuzy. to boot) their is no exception from these credics
@gmracing15 So if you want a true sport’s car buy the FD2, the real Type R.If you want a confortable car, buy a BMW or and Audi…Very expensive and you want simething faster? Golf GTI!! Faster and well made than the Civic… and only loose a few tenhs of a second on a race-track but who care’s??
