Maybach Edition 125 introduced to celebrate company’s 125th anniversary


In celebrating its 125th anniversary, Maybach is introducing the Edition 125 model at the 2011 Frankfurt International Motor Show. The Maybach receives both styling and performance enhancements to make it looks unique for the 125th anniversary celebration.

Major exterior enhancements for the Maybach Edition 125 include a new two-tone exterior finish in “Tahiti Black” and “Patagonia Silver” colors, mild redesigned front grille, daytime running LED lights, and a set of 20-inch alloy wheels.

As for the interior, the Maybach Edition 125 luxury sedan gets a host of luxury refinements including contour lighting, a 19-inch cinema screen, overview camera which displays outside traffic, new mobile phone hands-free system with Bluetooth functionality, and Wi-Fi router enabling in-car wireless internet connectivity. Additionally, an optional rear reclining seat is available along with optional rear seat upholstery with “SWAROVSKI” elements.

Besides the styling and luxury amenities enhancements, the Maybach Edition 125 luxury sedan’s V12 engine is re-tuned to produced 630 horsepower.

Other unique changes in the Maybach Edition 125 include laser-etched Maybach logo on the front armrest, Wilhelm Maybach signature on glove box compartment, and silver stitching on upholstery.

The Maybach Edition 125 will be in limited edition, and the company plans to first roll it out in UAE and Saudi Arabia.
