Cadillac has been working hard to get its new 2013 Cadillac ATS sport sedan to the production stage. Mark Reuss, North American President of General Motors, had made an official announcement last month at the Center for Automotive Research’s Management Briefing Seminars that the all-new Cadillac ATS will be in production in 2012. And today, General Motors provided us a sneak peak into the testing of the Cadillac ATS at the Nurburgring track in Germany.
The 2013 Cadillac ATS sport sedan will slotted as an entry level into the Cadillac sport sedan lineup. Cadillac says that it will more affordable for those who wish to own a Cadillac. Basically, the company is catering to young customers who don’t have more than $50k to folk down for a full-size Cadillac XTS. When it comes out, the 2013 Cadillac ATS sport sedan will be around $35,000 to $40,000, which is comparable to other affordable sport sedans like the Mercedes-Benz C Class and BMW 3 Series.
Anyway, check out the video below of behind the scene of the 2013 Cadillac ATS sport sedan. Although we can only see the camouflage version, it will be interesting to see how this compact sports sedan compares to its full-size brethren, the Cadillac XTS.
