The new 2012 Lotus Evora S GP Edition just unveiled to the world. The new Lotus Evora version is inspired by the Lotus-Renault Formula One race car, and it comes with a new paint scheme.
With the Lotus-Renault Formula One race car inspiration, the 2012 Lotus Evora S GP Edition gets the black and gold paint theme. The whole car is painted in black and layered with gold paint accents along with gold rims and red rearview mirrors.
In addition the to black and gold treatment, there is optional equipment that comes from the premium package, including a technology package with a rearview camera.
As for the powertrain, the new 2012 Lotus Evora S GP Edition is powered by the same 3.5-liter supercharged V6 producing 346 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This allows the 2012 Lotus Evora S GP Edition car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and with a top speed of 172 mph.
The 2012 Lotus Evora S GP Edition will be limited to just three units, and it costs $109,155 a piece. We were hoping of much powerful version since it’s inspired by the Formula One race car. It is disappointing that it just comes with a new paint scheme and an increased price tag.
