The new Audi e-tron Spyder is probably the most advanced concept hybrid car ever built from the company. Audi has been working on this hybrid sports car for quite a few years already, and every year it comes out with a new and improved version of the Audi e-tron Spyder hybrid sports car.

And this year is no exception, Audi has just released its latest iteration of the Audi e-tron Spyder hybrid sports car for the world to feast its eyes on. The latest Audi e-tron Spyder hybrid concept without a doubt is modern, sporty and elegant, which defined the company’s new design theme for its future cars.

But lets us dive into what makes this car so powerful. The Audi e-tron Spyder hybrid sports car is powered by a 300-hp twin-turbo V6 TDI engine at the rear axle and two electric motors producing a total of 64 kW (~86 hp) of power at the front axle. The hybrid powertrain is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Another plus side to the new Audi e-tron Spyder hybrid sports car concept is that it is very light compared with other similar sports cars, which has a curb weight of only 3,196 lbs. With such an enormous power output and a light-weight body, the Audi e-tron hybrid sports car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds, and with with an electronically governed top speed of 155 mph.

Currently, the Audi e-tron Spyder hybrid sports car is just a concept version. If it is ever built, we will see a lot of futuristic features be taken out. But a more realistic version will be the future Audi R4, which we will see a lot of design elements from the Audi e-tron hybrid sports car concept.

Even though Audi hasn’t confirmed the production of the Audi e-tron Spyder hybrid concept, the company has released a video below to showcase a lot of its new technological advanced features.

The technological points sound great but I do not like the look of the front. The enging is located at the middle of the car so the front should be very slim wedge shape look.
