Dodge Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition and Power Wagon added to truck lineup


Want to blend in with the environment when you are in the woods next time? Dodge just rolled out the new Ram 1500 Oak Edition just in time for hunting season.

For those who are into the hunting scene will recognize that Mossy Oak company is one of the leading companies in the camouflage industry. The company has teamed up with Dodge to create a camouflage version of the Ram 1500. The new Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition comes in a camouflage green exterior color, including new bed caps and tail gate wrapped in the Mossy Oak Breakup Infinity camo pattern along with the Mossy Oak logo displayed on the rear quarter panels.

The Ram Mossy Oak Edition is available only as a Ram 1500 4×4 Crew Cab model, and it is available in colors of Black, Bright White, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl, Mineral Gray Metallic, Saddle Brown and Sagebrush monotone.  In addition, the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition is also available in Black, Bright White and Deep Cherry Red Crystal two-tone, with Metallic Gray Metallic lower body.

Inside the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition, it gets a new instrument panel that is covered in Mossy Oak Breakup Infinity along with door panel inserts. In addition, the Mossy Oak logo is embroidered on the headrests, which can be choose with Espresso Tuscany-colored Katzkin Leather seats with Mossy Oak headrest embroidery as an option.

Power for the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition is provided by the same 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 features 383 horsepower and 400 lb. ft. of torque. The Ram Mossy Oak Edition trucks will arrive in dealerships in December 2011, and it will have a starting price of $39,910, including $995 destination charge.

And also next year, Dodge will be introducing the new Power Wagon to its truck line. The addition of ST and Laramie trim levels for the first time in the Ram 1500 series. The Power Wagon ST model will be catering to organizations and companies, which will come with the basic necessities such as a single-tone paint matched to black fender flairs, mirrors and bumpers. While the Dodge Power Wagon Laramie model gets new body-color fender flairs and chrome mirrors and bumpers. And in the interior, it comes with leather seats, a premium audio system along with wood-grain trim.

Pricing for the Dodge Power Wagon is expected to start at $42,620, and the Power Wagon Laramie ST at $51,995.
