The big dogs will be coming to the playing ground at the 2011 SEMA show in Las Vegas, and these big companies will be bringing out their big guns for the show off to see who is the top dog. We already got a few looks from Hyundai with its new Veloster compact car and Genesis Coupe, and now Ford plans to bring its new tuned versions of the Fiesta and Focus models.
Ford will be going all-out with its 2012 Ford Focus hatchback and sedan, which total to about seven variations, including the 3dCarbon, ID Agency, Seeda, Capaldi Racing, Roush, Bojix Design, and COBB Tuning.
As we know, the Ford Focus has been a hit since its introduction in 2009 with its all-new redesigned model. And Ford is just trying to capitalize its success in the tuning market. With seven variations of the tuned 2012 Ford Focus, it’s surely to suit everyone’s style and taste. According to Ford’s compact car marketing manager Mike Murphy, he explains, “Mellenials, which this car is all about, want to personalize every aspect of their lives – everything from laptop covers to body art and even cars.”
In addition to the seven variations of the tuned 2012 Ford Focus, Ford will also be introducing three variations of the 2012 Ford Fiesta to the tuning market, namely the Aaron Vaccar, Gold Coast Automotive, and M2-Motoring.
It will be interesting to see how these tuned Ford Focus and Fiesta models match up with the likes of Honda CR-Z, Civic, and Veloster. More tuned cars from companies such as Audi, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW will trickle out as the 2011 SEMA coming to a near, so stay tuned.
