Nissan Juke-R Concept to another radical level of design

The Nissan Juke is a “love it or hate it” affair. Some people think that the Nissan Juke crossover is a new change to the mundane world of SUVs, while other think that it is an oddly looking vehicle with no design heritage. But then again, Nissan is aiming the Juke crossover at younger customers, so a radical, modern look is a much suitable design.

Whatever the case, Nissan is clearly wanted to take the Juke crossover to another radical level, and that is by introducing the Nissan Juke-R Concept. It is clear that Nissan wanted  has just released the first video footage and audio of the Juke-R.

The new Nissan Juke-R Concept is packing more muscle with a stalky low profile. It features a twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 485 horsepower, which we believe to have the most testosterone in the crossover arena.

One look at the Nissan Juke-R Concept, we see nothing in the “crossover” with this vehicle. It is as masculine as any muscle cars, which features flared arch fenders, side gills, rear diffusers with twin exhausts, split rear wing and with hatchback-look due to its low profile stance. In addition, the Nissan Juke-R comes with the same 20-inch RAYS wheels as found on the GT-R.

Nissan has yet to release the performance number for the Juke-R crossover, but with 3,200 pounds of curb weight and a 48-hp engine, we expect the Nissan Juke-R to have a 0-60 mph time somewhere in the low 4-second range. As for now, stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted on the official performance numbers soon.
