We have seen some radical, upscale cars that came out of Dartz automotive company throughout the years, and this latest car version is one that only Dartz could think of. The company is introducing a bullet-proof electric roadster concept called the Dartz Jo-Mojo, which will make its debut in Monaco.
The Dartz Jo-Mojo electric roadster concept is designed by Eduard Gray. It is equipped with an electric motor producing 80 horsepower and 90 lb-ft of torque. The car uses a lithium-ion battery pack to power the electric motor, and it is capable of reaching a top speed of 125 mph and “0-62 mph” time in 9.5 seconds. The roadster has a retractable solar panel top on the cockpit, which closes when parked. But what is really interesting about the Darz Jo-Mojo is that it is bullet-proof. This just makes us laugh out loud that a roadster with an open-top needs bullet-proof capability. Anyhow, this lightly armored roadstercomes with patented bullet wheels, chameleon paint job and custom seating.
If the partial bullet-proof capability on the Dartz Jo-Mojo doesn’t work out so well when somebody is trying to kill you, have no fears, because the Dartz Jo-Mojo has a low center of gravity and wide front wheel placement to give it great agility and handling characteristics to ensure that you get out of harm’s way through the twists and turns.
Like many other Dartz cars, the Dartz Jo-Mojo electric roadster can be expensive. We don’t have the pricing yet, but it is likely available after the debut in Monaco. In the meantime, check out the video below.
