Not much we can tell about the technical details of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL convertible, but we can expect it to have a V8 engine producing around 550 horsepower for the AMG version. A V6 engine is also available when it comes out.
From the looks of the photos, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL convertible looks similar to the smaller SLK sports car while with the front fascia and rear end took on design cues from the SLS AMG Gullwing. Noticeable is the prominent front grille with light clusters and a more muscular look on the fenders.
But one thing is for sure, the new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL will be lighter than the SLS AMG Gullwing model. And that is good thing for a more dynamic and agile driving capabilities.
And as we move into the interior, we can see that Mercedes-Benz has dressed up the new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL to be luxurious with a mix of modern materials and traditional wood trims. But best of all, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL is as high-tech as the Lexus LF.
