The latest Lamborghini Aventador supercar has hit its new top speed record. If you haven’t ever felt what it’s like to be riding in a fast supercar at top speed, here is your chance to feel it.
The Lamborghini Aventador (Aventador LP700-4) is equipped with the latest V12 mid-engine producing 690 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque, and it is rated with a top speed of 217 mph from the spec sheet. But the company has pushed it beyond its limit to reach a top speed of 230 mph.
Dollar for dollar, the new Lamborghini Aventador supercar is a great contender in the supercar category. In comparison, the McLaren F1 can achieve a top speed of 231 mph, Koenigsegg CCR at 241 mph and the Bugatti Veyron at 254 mph, but these vehicles come with a steep price tag of at least a million dollars. Even though these a supercars have surpassed the Lamborghini Aventador’s 230-mph top speed, the Lamborghini Aventador does with comfort, great handling, and best of all, with a low price tag.
