2013 BMW X6 M gets a mild facelift with same 547-hp engine

Just as you think that the BMW X6 M crossover is just a hyped car and that its style wouldn’t catch on. Well, think again. Since the introduction of the BMW X6, we have seen many other car companies are following this style as well. Now the company is in its next iteration for a revised BMW X6 in 2013, and it has released two promo videos for us to see of what is the next 2013 BMW X6 is all about.

In the videos of the 2013 BMW X6 M, we see it gets a few subtle changes, which we all know too well about BMW’s changes to all of its cars. We see that the new 2013 BMW X6 M gets a mild facelift that includes new headlights and a lightly tweaked grille. While we couldn’t see the interior in the videos, word has it that it will get a few slight modifications as well. All for the best, of course.

For the powertrain department, it is expected that the 2013 BMW X6 M will use the same 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine from last year. This engine is rated at 547 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. Planning to tow your vacation boat in this little crossover? No problem at all, it should be smooth sailing up the mountains to a lake or down to the ocean. And one last thing, if you are thinking of taking out some standard sports cars on the road, it is good to know that the 2013 BMW X6 M crossover can do a 0-62 mph in just 4.7 seconds.
