Nissan Invitation Concept is aming for B-segment hatchback

Most car manufacturers have a B-segment hatchback version by now, and Nissan is not planning to miss the boat with its B-segment hatchback version to challenge the likes of Ford B-Max and Honda Fit. The company is introducing its new concept hatchback model for the B-segment called the Nissan Invitation, which will be launched in the UK in 2013.

The Nissan Invitation Concept is a five-door hatchback model, which has design cues similar to the Honda Fit, but only with a more cleaner and athletic look. According to Nissan, the Invitation Concept will be a technological advanced vehicle that combines advanced engine tech, a lightweight platform and an aerodynamic design to ensure optimum driving dynamics and agile handling.

“Invitation is an energetic design, bringing fresh style, innovation and excitement to the mainstream market,” Nissan said in a statement. “The clean fluidity of the silhouette hints at its dynamic potential and showcases class-leading aerodynamics for enhanced efficiency.”

Although Nissan hasn’t provided much information on the Nissan Invitation Concept, but we can expect that it to be more fuel efficient and economical car due to its Pure Drive badge. In addition, we can expect that the Nissan Invitation Concept will have latest tech goodies as well.

The Nissan Invitation Concept will make its debut next month at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned as we have more details coming up. In the meantime, check out the introduction video below of the Nissan Invitation Concept.
