We have been following the development of the Toyota GT-86 since 2009, and it is one of the most anticipated new cars of 2012. Many enthusiasts have longing for this sports car to arrive, and it finally did with all the promises. And now Chris Harris has given us a chance to feel what is like to be in the new Toyota GT-86 at the track in Spain.

But first a few information about the new Toyota GT-86. It is a rear wheel drive entry level sports car that has been given a few names to it: GT-86, FT-86, and FRS. Also known as the Subaru BRZ. The compact sports car is powered by a 2.0 liter naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder boxer engine with Toyota’s D-4S injection system. The engine produces about 200 horsepower at 7,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 151 lb-ft at 6,600 rpm. It’s mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
