Ferrari is planning to roll out its revised 2012 Ferrari California edition with more upgrades. The revised 2012 Ferrari California will be more powerful, lighter and faster as claimed by the company.
So, what’s new in the 2012 Ferrari California? Starting with the power, it gets an additional 30 horsepower to total out at 490 horsepower. The new found power is a result of a modified ECU, new exhaust manifold for easier breathing. And to shave off a few pounds, the 2012 Ferrari California is fitted with more aluminum parts, which is now 66 pounds lighter than the previous-year version. The result of these revisions is that the 2012 Ferrari California can now accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
In addition to the power enhancement, Ferrari also upgraded the suspension system as well. The 2012 Ferrari California also comes with a new Handling Speciale package, which includes a quicker steering ratio, stiffer springs, and magnetorheological dampers that can instantly adjust the suspension.
The 2012 Ferrari California will makes its live debut at the Geneva Palexpo in March.
