It has been two weeks with the flow of teaser photos of Ferrari’s new mystery supercar, and within these past two weeks, we also received numerous leaked photos of it as well. But one thing we didn’t know for sure is its name. As the 2012 Geneva Motor Show almost near, Ferrari has finally released official photos of the new supercar called the F12 Berlinetta.
Previously, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta was called the GT620, and this may be its code name instead. The design of the F12berlinetta is aerodynamics, sleek, and aggressive while providing exceptional in-car space and comfort. The interior is handcrafted and donned with Frau leather to provide a traditional styling while enhanced with advanced technology such as a lean dashboard and carbon fibre and aluminium air vents.
Anyhow, just as we had the reported, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta supercar is equipped with a V12 engine producing well over 740 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque. With a curb weight of 3,362 pounds, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.1 seconds, while reaching a speed of 104 mph in 8.5 seconds. Top speed for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is at 211 mph.
According to Ferrari, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta can complete a lap around the Fiorano circuit in about 1:23, which is faster than the 599 GTO at 1:24 and the Enzo clocked at 1:25.
