The new 2013 Ford Taurus SHO gets refreshed with a few minor changes along with a price increase as well, and from what we can see from the photos, it is hard to see the differences from the 2012 model.
Anyhow, the top-of-the-line 2013 Ford Taurus SHO sedan will now be priced at $39,995 including a destination charge, which is about $1,045 more than the 2012 sedan. Still, that is a big chunk of cash for this kind of sedan; we’re are talking about luxury performance level price range here.
With a $1,045 price bump, the 2013 Ford Taurus SHO gets the same turbocharged Ecoboost 3.5-liter V6 engine that is rated at 365 horsepower, along with a six-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. In addition, the SHO package also comes with a high performance cooling system, braking system, large 20-inch wheels, and a traction control system with an ‘off’ mode option.
