Big improvements are coming for the 2013 Nissan Leaf electric car. To stay competitive with the likes of Toyota Prius, Ford Focus Electric and Chevy Volt, Nissan is planning to make some serious improvements to the Nissan Leaf later this year, which includes a more efficient heater for cold-weather driving, new interior color choice and leather seats.
According to Nissan, with the new heater, the 2013 Nissan Leaf electric car may have up to 20-25 miles more of driving range under cold-weather conditions.
Nissan has been increasing the pricing of the Nissan Leaf throughout the years since its debut in 2010. Now the question: Will pricing of the 2013 Nissan Leaf increase? And from the trend that we saw, the answer to that question is a likely “yes”.
