In building the Nissan GT-R, Nissan tested it against the Porsche 911 at the Nürburgring track in Germany. Although flattered, Porsche has taken a notice of these test runs as well, and the rivalry started to ignite. And now here we have a showdown between the two track-proven sports cars.

Evo magazine has put together a showdown between the latest Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911 Carrera S. Both cars just recently received updated engine performance as well as handling equipment. The battle is now on between the Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911 Carrera S.

On the left corner is the new Nissan GT-R powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque. It can sprint from 0-62 mph in just 2.84 seconds.
