If more power is what you want in your crossover, more power is what you will get in Porsche’s latest 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS crossover. The company’s latest sports crossover now tops out at 420 horsepower, which is about 20-hp more than the standard version.
In addition to the measly power increase in the 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS crossover, Porsche also refined the chassis to lower it about 20mm and added a new eight-speed Tiptronic S paddleshift gearbox connected to a lower final-drive ratio in the rear. This translates to 5.4 seconds in the “o-60 mph” time and a top speed of 162 mph.
Even though the 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS crossover deemed as a sporty vehicle, that doesn’t stop Porsche to squeeze out every last drop of fuel. It is equipped with stop-start technology as standard; like if you really want it when making a decision to purchase this sports crossover in the first place.
Other sport features on the 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS crossover to make it unique include Peridot Metallic and Carmine Red exterior paints, specialized 20-inch wheels and eight-way adjustable seats. In addition, there is the Sport Chrono package available to display all vital shift information for a precise shift.
So, how much is all this going to cost you? The 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS crossover base model is priced at $82,050, which includes $975 in destination charge.
