The Peugeot automaker is known to churn out big luxury sedans and four-door sports cars, but these days, the company is diversifying its portfolio with the introduction of its latest RCZ Brownstone edition sports car.
The latest edition of the Peugeot RCZ sports is aiming at the Audi TT in Germany. But could it compete with a more dominant player? The latest edition is called the RCZ Brownstone. The sports coupe is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing only 156 horsepower. In comparison, the Audi TT can churn out 212 horsepower on a non-turbo version. Just that alone could beat the Peugeot RCZ.
Where the Peugeot RCZ lacks in power, it makes up in design and appointed materials. On the interior, the sports coupe gets a metallic brown paint job along with racing stripe and 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the it comes with Cohiba leather and Alcantara trim. Of course, all these high-end materials come at a cost. The Peugeot RCZ Brownstone edition sports coupe is expected to sell at about €32,650 in Germany, that is about $42,000 U.S.
