The 2010 Volkswagen Polo GTI gets a face lift with new headlights and bumper treatment at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show. The all new 2010 Polo GTI comes in standard with a 1.4L TSI engine, and with the option to upgrade to a turbo or supercharger that produces about 180 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The full power of this engine is realized between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm, and is transfer to the front wheels with help of a seven speed double clutch DSG transmission.
The suspension components are also got upgraded along with an electronic differential in the turbo version. New 17-inch alloy wheels are part of the turbo package. It is expected the VW Polo GTI will be available in Europe first after the Geneva Auto Show. Two trims are available in 3 and 5-door hatchback styles.
