2013 Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV revealed with AMG models

Mercedes-Benz will present the new 2013 G-Class at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show later this month, and the company has just released technical details and photos ahead of the show. Included in this public release is the new 603-hp AMG version as well.

The fresh 2013 Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV hasn’t changed much on the exterior. The style remains relatively the same to its well-like iconic model. The only minor modifications you do notice are the LED daytime running lamps integrated below the headlamps and also the arrow indicator light style within the side-view mirrors. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz G-Class AMG versions get a brand new AMG radiator grille with double louvers, unique new bumpers with big air intakes and red brake calipers and 20-inch wheels.

“Our G-Class has been a force to be reckoned with for the last 33 years,” said Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG. “In its latest evolutionary stage, it offers state-of-theart, powerful engines, a further improved range of luxurious appointments and the very latest safety features, as well, of course, as its now legendary off-road capabilities. At the same time the design remains true to its down-to-earth, unmistakable style.”

Although the exterior hasn’t changed much, the interior is another story. The new 2013 Mercedes-Benz G-Class gets a completely new upgraded interior with high-quality features along with a newly designed instrument cluster and center console, which features the latest COMAND infotainment system with navigation and Web access.
