The 2012 Beijing Motor Show is about to start next week, and Audi today has revealed its new Audi RS Q3 concept for the public of the Internet. According to Audi, this latest hatchback will be more sportier in terms of looks and handling.
The new Audi RS Q3 concept features new RS-themed styling cues with a revised front bumper featuring larger air intakes, black honeycomb grille, tinted headlights, 20-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in 255/30 tires, and a 0ne-inch lowered ride height all around. And at the rear, the lower bumper section has a sporty and angular style to fit the new RS rear diffuser. Even the rear lights and auxiliary lights are tinted in anthracite and are made of clear glass.
On the inside, the new Audi RS Q3 concept gets a blacked-out theme, which includes dark blue Alcantara inserts surrounded by Nappa leather on the seats and a few other dark features throughout the cabin.
For the powertrain, the new Audi RS Q3 concept hatchback is equipped with the same turbocharged 2.5-liter TFSI five-cylinder producing 360 horsepower, which is available on the TT RS model. The engine is mated to a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive system. The company claims that the Audi RS Q3 concept can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds. And that is fast for a hatchback.
Live videos of the Audi RS Q3 concept will be available next week when it debuts at the Beijing Motor Show.
