2013 Aston Martin Vanquish with more powerful V12 engine

When it comes to sports cars, bigger power still reigns as king. Even though we want to steer away from big engines due to the current high gas prices, but no doubt, we will always hunger for that piece of pie. With that, Aston Martin is officially releasing its latest 2013 Vanquish sports car with a powerful 6.0-liter V12 engine.

With the new V12 engine, the 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish is about 55 horsepower more than the DBS model, which equates to 565 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. To handle the sheer power, it uses the Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission with fast and precise shifting, so no need for manual transmission here. According to Aston Martin, the 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds and with a top speed of 183 mph.

“The new Vanquish mixes beautiful design with impressive technology such as the superb new infotainment system. This is the latest incarnation of everything we know, informed and developed from One-77. It is the ultimate Super Grand Tourer – confident and assured – and is the newest representation of Power, Beauty and Soul.”

We’ve seen the Aston Martin One-77 sports car, and it seems that the 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish is being greatly influence by it. We can see the resemblance in its new carbon-fiber body with stretched lines along with an aero duct.

And in the interior, the 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish also gets some of the same treatment as the One-77. And this includes the center console with LED-ringed inputs, twin-material steering wheel, and a much larger cabin.

The 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish sports car is priced from £189,995, and it is expected to be available at the beginning of late 2012 in the UK and Continental Europe. For more action, check out the video of the 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish below.
