Audi announced the 2011 Audi RS5, which is the engine rework of the Audi A5. It will debut in the 2010 Geneva Motor Show this March. The new Audi RS5 will be powered by a 4.2L high rev V8 engine with 450-hp and a maximum torque of 317 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm. Power to all four wheels is transferred through a seven-speed S tronic. With Fuel efficiency is estimated at a combined 22 mpg for the 2011 Auid RS5.
The 2011 Audi RS5 is a heavy beast, which weighs in about 3,803 pounds. Thanks to the new found horsepower in the V8 engine, the Auid RS5 can sprint from 0-62 mph in just 4.6 seconds and a top speed up to 155 mph set by the speed limiter. The Audi RS5 rolls on the standard 19-inch alloy wheels fitted with 265/35 tires, which are executed in an exclusive 5-arm structure design. The RS 5 optionally comes with 20-inch wheels and 275/30 tires also.
The Audi RS5 will be available for sale in spring in Europe. Starting price for the 2011 Audi RS5 will be around $104,633. U.S. availability of the RS5 will follow a few months after the release in Europe.
