The initial introduction of the Kia Forte sedan a few years ago got us all hyped up about the Kia brand, but quickly fell short due to the markup pricing by unscrupulous dealerships. The car has a lot of potential, but the Kia brand wasn’t much respected by customers and overshadowed by the likes of Honda and Hyundai. But one thing the Kia Forte did to the Kia brand that it set a launch pad for other models to come, such as the Kia Optima and Sportage.
With the upcoming year of 2013, the company is set to launch a wholly new redesigned 2013 Kia Forte, which does not look anything like the current model but more of the Kia Optima sedan. And as we can tell, the 2013 Kia Forte sedan is sleeker and modern all around.
By far the 2013 Kia Forte sedan is no longer a compact car like the current model. It is longer and wider all around plus a longer wheelbase for more cabin space. The styling of the 2013 Kia Forte sedan is inline with the current Kia’s design language, which is fluid and aerodynamic. It’s designed with a sleeker profile for a more aerodynamic look and adding flashy new LED front and rear lamps and a chrome-finished beltline to address the modern theme.
In addition to the modern and sleek look, the new 2013 Kia Forte sedan will have fuel economy inline with the Hyundai Elantra. According to the company, the revised engine lineup promises “class-leading fuel economy.”
The 2013 Kia Forte sedan is scheduled to hit dealerships world wide in the first quarter of 2013. More details will be revealed later.
