Get ready for the new 2013 Audi SQ5 TDI Exclusive Concept. Audi has been actively trying to outpace BMW over reign of luxury performance vehicles. The new 2013 Audi SQ5 TDI Exclusive Concept will make its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show later this month, and it will be presented to showcase Audi’s new design elements.
The 2013 Audi SQ5 Exclusive Concept has been given a bespoke luxury look with the exterior mirrors are in aluminum appearance and Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights are all come standard equipment. And inside, the interior gets donned with leather seating of black Nappa leather throughout with compliment of contrasting stitching and Alcantara headliner in snow white and grain ash veneers. In addition, the blind for the sunroof and the inlays and applications in the doors are finished in snow white color.
Power for the 2013 Audi SQ5 TDI Exclusive Concept remains the same with the 230 kW (313 hp and 479 pound-feet of torque) diesel engine, which gives it the first S model in the history of Audi with a diesel engine. The engine is mated to a eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and the company’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. This setup allows the SQ5 to accelerate to 62 miles per hour in just 5.1 seconds. Now that is fast for a crossover.
The 2013 Audi SQ5 TDI Exclusive Concept will be available in Germany next year, with a starting price of €92,000 ($121,000 USD), which is about €33,500 ($44k) over the standard model. We’ll have more details next week, in the meantime, check out the above.
