Gemballa shows GT aero package for new Porsche 991-based GT convertible

Looking for the new Porsche 991-based GT convertible but with your own unique twist? Well, you’re in luck.  Gemballa has just release its latest GT aerodynamic package for the recently-released Porsche 911 Carrera S.

The Gemballa GT aerodynamic package include a new front bumper with three large cooling air intakes along with a lower air splitter to provide more stabilising downforce at speed.  In addition, new side skirts run and a rear bumper featuring a rear diffuser even more stability at high speeds for just in case you need to run away from someone or something.

To keep weight at a minimum, all aerodynamic pieces are made of top grade carbon-fibre. But what use of all the aerodynamic parts if you don’t a good suspension to go along with it.  So Gemballa also upgrade the Porsche 911 Carrera S with sports suspension and brakes. The 30mm shorter springs are calibrated to work with the factory PASM (Porsche electronic damping control system), while the brake system is made by Brembo.  And lastly, 21-inch GForged wheels that are lighter than Porsche’s standard 20-inchers are called in for the fast-task as well.

The Gemballa GT aero package costs about €19,860 ($26,070 U.S.), which includes paint and installation along with the suspension modification, brakes and sport exhaust.  In addition, the GForged wheels will add another €9,895 ($12,989 U.S.).
