2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca gets some attention at Jay Leno’s Garage

A lot of car enthusiasts are yearning for one, and hoping one day it will be in their garage. The particular one we’re talking about here is the 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302, which its chief engineer, Dave Pericak, brought it to Jay Leno’s Garage for a run-down.

The new Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca (442 hp) doesn’t have more horsepower than the Shelby GT500 with 662 horsepower, but it makes up for being a well tuned car, from the engine to the suspension system that are ready for the race track. It has incredible balance, power and performance engineered for the racetrack, which translates to a safer driving on and off the track. It features the TracKey that can change the ECU map for the racetrack, or with a normal key, it’s a smooth, daily driving car. This what most car enthusiasts want, to have the cake and eat it too.

With the TracKey feature, even Jay Leno prefers the 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca over the Shelby GT500. So go for a drive along with Jay Leno in the video below.
