The SEMA Show in Las Vegas will be held later this month, and Ford is showing off some of the Fusion models made specifically for this event. Like always, the SEMA event is a mix of both tuning and styling of production cars.
Today Ford has released a few images of the Fusion SEMA models, and this time, the Fusion models are less flashy than the Ford Focus models from last year. But we need to remember that the Fusion is a family sedan while the Ford Focus is a sports compact car. From the looks of these Fusion SEMA models, we got to say that it does have potential for upgrades in the styling department.
First one here is the 2013 Ford Fusion in the Tjin Edition. On the exterior, it gets a new beige paint job along with 21-inch wheels and new headlights and fog lights. For performance, it gets an upgraded turbo and MagnaFlow exhaust system to its 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine. Another model is the 3dCarbon-Air Design Fusion, which is even more subtle on the styling with its lower body kit.
If you are more into the racing scene, there is the Ice Nine Group 2013 Ford Fusion, which mimics the style of the Austrian V8 Supercar Series. Here we see the Ford Fusion with an even lowered stance and large racing rear wing.
The fourth version is the 2013 Fusion by MRT Performance. It has a sinister looking black and blue paint job, which looks painfully to stare at. It comes with an Eco-Flow exhaust system and a revised chassis for the modification.
Stay tuned as we have more photos and specifications of the 2013 Ford Fusion SEMA editions when the SEMA Show hits Las Vegas from October 30th to November 3rd.
