Ready to up the ante of your favorite Porsche Caynne? Porsche has just unveiled its latest 2013 Caynne Turbo S crossover with an extra 50 horsepower to the already potent engine, making it the most powerful production crossover that came out of its factory. The Porsche Caynne Turbo S is not any ordinary sports utility vehicle, it has the performance of many sports cars, while providing off-road capability, ride comfort and towing ability as any SUV.

The 2013 Porsche Caynne Turbo S is now putting out a total of 550 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque from its turbocharged V8 engine, and combined that with the most technological advanced chassis system gives you all the hauling power that you ever need to tow your trailer or 18-foot boat to any excursion destination. As if you need a really fast crossover, but Porsche promises that the 2013 Porsche Caynne Turbo S is quick, which can sprint from 0-60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. Top speed is said to be around about 175 mph, just in case you have the urge to go really fast, Autobahn anyone?

A powerful engine, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV) and Power Steering Plus are come as equipment for the 2013 Porsche Caynne Turbo S. The PDCC allows a smoother cornering, improving agility and ride comfort. While the PTV Plus adds torque vectoring at the rear wheels by working with an electronically controlled rear differential lock to improve traction. In addition, it comes with the Sport Chrono package as standard, which includes an analog and digital timer located at the center of the dashboard to display performance information.

To differentiate the 2013 Porsche Caynne Turbo S from its siblings, it features a few aesthetic accents such as gloss black intakes in the front bumper, black gloss 21-inch 911 Turbo II wheels, twin exhaust outlets, two-tone leather interior of Black/Carrera Red or Black/Luxor Beige combinations with contrast stitching, Porsche Crest embossed headrests, Alcantara covered roof, and other carbon fiber accents on the dashboard and door panels.

The 2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is scheduled to go on sale in the spring of 2013, and it is priced from $146,000 not including a $975 destination charge. In the meantime, check out the video below.
