Hyundai introduced the Hyundai i-Flow Concept car at the Geneva Motor Show, which may be a hint that Hyundai is getting sophisticated in the luxury sports car segment or the hybrid car arena. The Hyundai i-flow resembles the Genesis with curvatures of the Infinit G 37 Coupe.
The Hyunda i-Flow concept is powered by a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain, which consists of a 1.7L two-stage turbocharged diesel unit and an electric-motor. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. Why dual clutch? Well, better grip, smoother release, and easy on the foot petal. The concept also features new technology such as flexible solar panel roofing and a thermo-electric generator.
When it comes to production, this may be the future car of the Genesis or part out technologies in the i-Flow will be used in other Hyundai cars. We think it is both.
