hyundai i flow concept 4 620x443 Hyundai i Flow Concept, a luxury sports car?

Hyundai introduced the Hyundai i-Flow Concept car at the Geneva Motor Show, which may be a hint that Hyundai is getting sophisticated in the luxury sports car segment or the hybrid car arena. The Hyundai i-flow resembles the Genesis with curvatures of the Infinit G 37 Coupe.

The Hyunda i-Flow concept is powered by a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain, which consists of a 1.7L two-stage turbocharged diesel unit and an electric-motor. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. Why dual clutch? Well, better grip, smoother release, and easy on the foot petal.  The concept also features new technology such as flexible solar panel roofing and a thermo-electric generator.

When it comes to production, this may be the future car of the Genesis or part out technologies in the i-Flow will be used in other Hyundai cars.  We think it is both.

Fantastic design, but most ordinary people are a bit shy & timid,, such flash dashing, a little too much of obtrusive sharp creased contours bling, bling may be a bit embarrassing for every day riding, better tone down a little, & front lower end is a bit bulky & alarmingly too low,, anyway bold & genius concept , applause !!

Thanks for the heads up. I agree about the Import cars looking awesome. Even the new Camry looks bad-ass with the “sport” package. Detroit is starting to come out with some interesting concepts that hopefully make it into production like the new Buick Regal GS and Ford Taurus SHO. Cheers.
