Three modified Ford SUVs for SEMA: Escape and Explorer models

Get ready for some hot wheels out of the Ford’s booth at this upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas from October 30th to November 2nd. Ford has just released five Focus STs and four Fusion sedans for the show, now the company is adding another two modified 2013 Escapes and a 2013 Explorer to the SEMA portfolio.

Here we are seeing some photos and a sketch of the modified SUVs. The modified Ford Escape is now called as the VACCAR Urban Escape Adventure, which finished in grey shade riding of black alloy wheels. The front-wheel drive Ford Escape is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine. Tuned?

Another similar model is the all-wheel drive Escape created by Heide Performance Products (HPP), which is supposed to get a tuned engine from the 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine mating to a 6-speed automatic transmission, but Ford chose to leave the details later, near the grand opening day of the SEMA Show. According to Ford, the Escape “represents the ideal balance of rugged off-road attitude, upscale comfort and potent EcoBoost engine.”

The third modified model is the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport SUV, which comes with the new 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine. This SUV gets tuned by Forgiato, where it gets a new Pearl White paint job along with a wide-body kit and a new set of 26×1-inch forged wheels wrapped in Pirelli 295/30R26 tires. There are a few interior changes as well, but again, details are spared till later.
