2013 Porsche Boxster gets tuned by SpeedArt with SP81-R package

The new 2013 Porsche Boxster is not the Porsche 911, but with the recent changes, its appearance and performance have come close to the premium model. Unlike its predecessor, the new 2013 Porsche Boxster looks and drive a lot a like the Porsche Cayman, with the exception of being a lower price tag. But if you are still not satisfied with the new look and power, SpeedArt got a tuning package for your desire.

SpeedArt tuning company has just released the SP81-R tuning package for the 2013 Porsche Boxster in base version or S version, which consists of both cosmetic and performance upgrades.

The first tuning package includes a custom exhaust system with sport-catalysts and headers to add another 20 horsepower and 15 pound-feet of torque, which results in a total power output of 261 hp for the 2.7-liter flat-six base model, while the 3.4-liter flat-six S model gets bump to 311 hp. And the second tuning package consists of a remapping of the ECU to boost both engine outputs by another 30 hp and 22 lb-ft of torque.

But there is more, SpeedART has also announced that it is working on a bolt-on turbo kit that will give the Boxster S another 80 horsepower. According to the company, the new turbo kit will be available for order “very soon.”

In addition to the power upgrade on the 2013 Porsche Boxster, SpeedArt also fitted with a sport tuned suspension system that can be dialed in either for the street or track. The tuned suspension system also comes with an optional airlift suspension that can raise the Porsche Boxster front-end to clear ramps and speed bumps.

For the exterior modification, it includes decals and a body kit that consists of a rear wing, a rear diffuser, a front chin spoiler, side panels with carbon fiber application, and optional 20- and 21-inch wheels available in various colors. There are also a few modifications to the interior as well, but you can take a look at it in the photos above.
