Ford adds modified Mustang, F-150 and F-250 models to 2012 SEMA Show

We’ve seen a bunch of modified Ford cars for the 2012 SEMA Show, and now Ford is releasing a few more concept sketches of the modified Mustang, F-150 and F-250 models before the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas next week.

The first three Ford Mustang GTs have the same major changes to their appearances, including larger wheels, new paint job, and among other drastic exterior body parts. For performance modification, the Mothers/Autosport Dynamics/RTR Mustang gets a power boost to 650 horsepower, while the DSO Eyewear Mustang gets about 750 horses.

In the pickup truck category, it includes the Ford F-150 trucks and one F-250. The F-150 trucks were modified by Truckin’ Magazine, which looks a racing truck with a chopped look, bigger brakes and an upgraded interior. On the diesel-powered F-250, it gets modified by Kelderman Air Suspension Systems, which gets an airbag suspension with eight to ten inches of lift.

Here is the list of details on the modified Ford vehicles for the 2012 SEMA:

-2013 Mustang GT, 5.0L V8, Six-Speed Manual Transmission – Built by Ringbrothers: Inspired by street machine style, the Ringbrothers Mustang GT adds a supercharger, suspension upgrades, Baer brakes, a carbon-fiber body kit, custom waterborne paint, and big wheels and tires to create an optimized balance of form and function.

-2013 Mustang Convertible, 3.7L V6, Six-Speed Manual Transmission – Built by Stitchcraft: Stitchcraft added nitrous injection, a FlowMaster exhaust, Hotchkis coil-over suspension and big Wilwood brakes to give this pony more performance. A 3dCarbon body kit and custom paint scheme harmonize with the signature Stitchcraft custom interior to add individuality and comfort.

-2013 Mustang GT, 5.0L V8, Six-Speed SelectShift Automatic Transmission – Built by DSO Eyewear: A Whipple twin-screw supercharger with intercooler boosts horsepower to 750, while Eibach suspension and Brembo brakes help deliver and modulate speed. Big wheels and tires, a 3dCarbon body kit, extensive interior customization, and a booming Rockford audio system combine to set this unique build apart.

-2013 Mustang GT, 5.0L V8, Six-Speed Manual Transmission – Built by Mothers, Autosport Dynamics, RTR: The Mothers’ team has pumped this Mustang up to 650 horsepower, added a track-ready suspension, fitted big wheels and tires, wrapping the package with an RTR carbon-fiber body kit, and finishing the cockpit in custom Sparco seats with custom upholstery. Vaughn Gittin Jr., your Mustang is ready.

-2013 Ford F-150 FX2 Sport Super Cab, 3.5L EcoBoost V6 – Built by Truckin’ Magazine: Truckin’ Magazine started with the objective of giving an F-150 track-like handling, with a lowered stance, a high-performance brake package, and a more luxurious interior. A unique wheel and tire combination and a custom stripe kit complete the aggressive look and feel of this dynamic build.

-2012 Ford F-250 XLT Crew Cab, 6.7L PowerStroke V8 Turbo Diesel – Built by Kelderman Air Suspension Systems – Kelderman Air Suspension Systems teamed with Tim Nicolau Designs to give this Super Duty 8-10 more inches of lift, powder-coated, chromed and painted suspension components, an AccuAir TouchPad air suspension management system and Sway-A-Way remote reservoir shock absorbers. It’s ready to go anywhere, with looks to match.

-2013 Ford F-150 FX2 Sport Super Cab, 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 – Built by K-Daddyz Kustomz: The K-Daddyz Kustomz crew applied street influence with a touch of urban luxury to their SEMA F-150 display vehicle. It features an “in your face” bright red monochromatic paint scheme, 24-inch wheels and tires, a fully detailed undercarriage, and a mind-blowing Rockford Fosgate audio system. A supercharger adds go to this show.

We love the SEMA Show due to its over-the-top and unique nature of modified production cars, and you will get to see live images of these modified vehicles next week, so stay tuned.
