The 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe is officially released today, and it is here to challenge the likes of the Audi S7 and Mercedes-Benz CLS63 next summer. Powering the 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe will be similar as the M5 and M6 models, which carried a direct-injected 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 560 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of peak torque. Feeding power to the rear wheels is a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electronically controlled Active M Differential for maximum traction.
Performance wise, the 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds and tops out 155 miles per hour. With any given increase in the power factor, massive stopping power is needed to stop on a dime. BMW added massive rotors and six-piston calipers for the front and rear, with 15.7 and 15.6 inches, respectively. The 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe is made for both the street and track, which comes with different M1 (sporty) and M2 (track) modes.
As you can see in the photos, the all-new 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe is aggressive looking as it can be. The aggressive body kit, carbon fiber roof panel, painted brake calipers and racing-like 20-inch wheels tell you that this luxury sports car means business.
Pricing for the 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe has not been released yet, but we expect to see it in May of 2013. In the meantime, check out the new photos we’ve just uploaded.
