The 2013 Dodge Charger R/T performance sedan is the re-introduction of the legendary Dodge Charger Daytona, which had menaced the racetracks in its heydays. Today, the company debuts its muscle car at the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show, which offers unique retro styling cues along with the modern performance.
The 2013 Dodge Charger R/T sedan will be in limited production to just only 2,500 units, and it will be available in the Charger R/T and Charger R/T Road & Track trim levels.

The Charger R/T trim starts at $32,990 and $36,495 for the R/T Road & Track. The 2013 Charger Daytona comes with unique 20-inch wheels, black hood and roof graphics, a satin black grille and decklid spoiler. Exterior colors are available in a unique color palette of Daytona Blue, Bright White, Billet Silver or Pitch Black, and the Daytona package features special dark trim.
As muscular and raw as the 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona can be, its interior is luxurious with state-of-the-art technology. It is donned with unique black performance Nappa leather and suede heated and ventilated seats with Daytona Blue stitching and piping in the Road & Track version. While the Charger Daytona R/T version gets a custom sport cloth seat with “DAYTONA” moniker embroidered in blue into the upper front seat backs. In addition, dark brushed aluminum trim surrounds the 8.4-inch Uconnect Touch screen and gauges on the instrument panel, as well as the trim around the shifter and cup holders on the center console. Finishing touches include a Mopar bright pedal kit, a 552-watt 10-speaker Beats Audio System, and a special numbered “DAYTONA” badge on the instrument panel that features the build number of that specific Charger Daytona model.
On the performance department, the 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona is equipped with a 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 engine producing 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. To save fuel, the V8 engine also comes with the four-cylinder mode Fuel Saver Technology and a five-speed automatic transmission with Auto Stick that delivers up to 25 mpg highway.
Additional features for the 2013 Dodge Charger R/T include: High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes (ABS), four-wheel independent suspension, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), high-speed engine controller, 3.06 rear axle ratio, paddle shifters, performance steering and suspension setups, and premium soft-touch interior with genuine aluminum accents.
