The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA sports sedan is scheduled to debut next month at the Detroit Auto Show, and already images of it have spilled out on the Internet. The official press release of the Mercedes-Benz CLA sports sedan won’t be out until a few weeks from now, and here we got a few images for you to gaze upon.
From many of the spy photos and videos of the Mercedes-Benz CLA sports sedan while it was testing in Iceland, these leaked photos are more substantial as we can get to this sports sedan. The new Mercedes-Benz CLA sports sedan will sport the new 4MATIC system, which is an AWD four-wheel drive system developed and used by Mercedes-Benz. It is designed to increase traction in slippery conditions. As most 4MATIC system Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the Mercedes-Benz CLA sports sedan featuring a 7-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment.
Power for the Mercedes-Benz CLA is available with high-torque turbo engines rated at up to 211 horsepower. While the newly developed AMG 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine will have a maximum torque at around 295 lb-ft. In addition to the new 4MATIC system, the Mercedes-Benz comes with a sports suspension and numerous driving assistance systems, such as advanced collision prevention assist, and sport or manual driving modes.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA sports sedan is now available to order in the UK at a price range from £24,355 to £31,555. It comes with a choice of two engines and two trim levels. Starting with the base model is the CLA 180, which is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine producing about rated for 120 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. Zero to 62 mph is at about 9.3 seconds, and fuel economy for this version is rated at around 50.4 mpg combined in UK cycle.
A more powerful version is the Mercedes-Benz CLA 220 CDI, which is equipped with a 2.1-liter turbo-diesel engine producing about 167 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, and it can sprint from 0-62 mph in about 8.2 seconds. Fuel economy is around 63 mph combined in UK cycle.
For the trim levels, the Sport that comes with a suspension tuned for comfort, 18-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, and rain-sensing wipers. While the AMG trim level comes with unique alloy rims, a styling package, sport steering wheel and seats, and bi-xenon headlamps.
