The official photos of the new 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible showed up on Flickr last week, before its world premiere next month at the Detroit Motor Show. From the looks, the new sports convertible gets the same styling cues as the coupe version.
The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible gets the same powerplant as the coupe version as well, which features a 6.0-liter twin turbocharged W12 engine producing 616 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. That is about 49 hp and 74 lb-ft of torque more than the regular GTC model.
Performance wise, the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible can accelerate from 0-60 mph in merely 4.0 seconds and top out at 205 mph. Surely, there is no time to ask for Grey Poupon mustard at that speed limit. It is undeniably fast.
More details to come on the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible when it hits the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, so stay tuned.
