The new 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor pickup truck is for capable than ever, which got revised according to what the off-road enthusiasts have been asking for, and that is more power. In addition to more power, the latest Ford Raptor pickup truck is upgraded with light-weight forged-aluminum wheels featuring extra-capable beadlocks to help secure the tires to the wheels when in a low pressure setting.

Among other improvements, the 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor pickup truck gets high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps that are much brighter and whiter than the standard lamps. And there is also a new earth-toned exterior color added as well.

In off-road capability, the 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor pickup truck’s wheels are unique designed with beadlock that helps with tires deflation to be dropped to a very low threshold for maximum traction under extreme conditions, yet holds the tires in place.

Power for the 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor pickup truck is available exclusively with a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque, which is mated to an electronic six-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode and SelectShift Automatic functionality. The 4WD system features electronic shift-on-the-fly capability for the transfer case. The front axle features the Torsen differential with 4.10 to 1 gearing, while the rear axle is also 4.10 to 1, with an electronic-locking differential.

Even though the 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor pickup truck is an off-road vehicle, it is technology advanced inside. The SVT Raptor interior features unique center stack and door trim appliqué finish and leather-trimmed steering wheel with thumb pads. It comes with Ford’s SYNC communications and entertainment system, allowing hands-free voice-activated control of a driver’s mobile device and the truck’s audio system. All the information can be read from a new 4.2-inch multi-function LCD screen, including an optional voice-activated Navigation System. If you want a bigger screen, there is an optional 8-inch center stack touch screen available with five-way controls mounted on the steering wheel.

For comfortability through rock climbing, the SVT Raptor is equipped with standard unique leather and cloth-trimmed seats, with driver’s side power actuation and six-way adjustability.

The 2013 F-150 SVT Raptor is available in Race Red, Blue Flame Metallic, Tuxedo Black Metallic, Ingot Silver Metallic, Oxford White and a new Raptor-exclusive hue. In addition, SVT Raptor can be had with an interior color accent package, featuring contrasting blue against a black environment and real aluminum trim components. There is also an optional Luxury Package, which adds numerous comfort and convenience technologies that we mentioned above.
