Mercedes introduced its 2011 E-Class Cabriolet at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. Now, Mercedes-Benz announced the Prime Edition packages available for the E 250 CDI, E 350 CDI, E 250 CGI, E 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY and E 500 models, which will be available with a soft top in this four-seater. The soft top can detract in 20 seconds at speeds up to 25 mph.
Also included in the Prime Edition, a unique tenorite grey metallic paintwork and AMG 6-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels. On the inside, interior upgrades include dual-tone leather seats, seat heating and memory package for the seats, steering column, and performance enhancements such as Agility Control sports suspension.
Engine performance of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Convertible Prime Edition depends on what model you choose. Engine options include a 3.5-liter 268 hp V6 or a 5.5-liter 382 hp V8, and 258 and 391 lb-ft of torque, respectively.
