Aston has just unveiled its luxury sports car, the 2013 Aston Martin Rapide S, which is the replacement of the outgoing standard version. The infamous four-door sport car also gets a big boost to its V12 engine along with a revise exterior design.
The exterior receives subtle changes, and much of its unique body curvatures remain relatively the same. The 2013 Aston Martin Rapide S sports car get a larger grille, which you could easily relate to the 2013 Ford Fusion’s front fascia design. Other subtle changes are the car’s rear decklid and a new Carbon Exterior Pack, which give the car a more sporty characteristic. While the interior gets a few mild changes that we can easily notice, such as a new piano black interior with Duotone perforated red and black leather.
The 2013 Martin Rapide S is more powerful with its V12 engine, now producing 550 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque. And that is about 80 hp and 14 lb-ft more than the outgoing model. According to the company, the four-door sports car is capable of blasting from 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds and climbing a top speed of 190 mph. That is about 0.4 second faster than the previous version.
The new 2013 Aston Martin Rapide S sports car will be available to order worldwide next month, and pricing will be announced a month ahead.
