We’ve seen many Mopar limited edition models on the Dodge vehicles, and now the company is rolling out its latest modification of the 2013 Dodge Dart compact sedan for the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. The Mopar 2013 Dodge Dart will be in limited production of just 500 units, and it is customized to be sinister looking.
On the exterior, the Mopar 2013 Dodge Dart is painted with a glossy black finish, along with matching gloss black 18-inch wheels wrapped in low profile 225/40R18 performance tires. To finish off the skin, Mopar blue stripes are painted over for the contrasting, racing look. In addition, a Mopar ground effects kit wrapped around to provide an aggressive look.
“Our new Mopar ’13 Dart will turn heads and stand out from the crowd,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “For this special, limited- edition vehicle, we specifically kept the driver in mind as we added select Mopar parts and accessories.”
While the interior gets a few modifications as well. The Mopar 2013 Dodge Dart compact sedan gets new leather seats, gloss black and black chrome trim, blue accent stitching on the seats, and sport pedals.
Power for the Mopar 2013 Dodge Dart compact sedan is provided by a turbocharged 1.4-liter MultiAir four-cylinder engine, and it is coupled with a manual transmission. Mopar also calibrated the steering for performance responses, the suspension lowered seven millimeters, and the exhaust tuned for better engine breathing. And for stopping power, it also added a more heavy-duty brake kit with slotted rotors.
Among the performance and styling modifications, the Mopar 2013 Dodge Dart compact sedan also comes with a slew of modern technologies, such as vehicle-information apps for smartphones, electronic owner manuals, ability to make the vehicle as a wireless hot spot, and Electronic Vehicle Tracking System.
